Fun Fridays at LUCHA

• Friday afternoons are extra special at LUCHA!  Our LUCHA leaders participate in enrichment opportunities for the last hour of the day as part of our Fun Friday program.  Teachers and YMCA leaders choose to lead classes that match their talents and interests and design 6-8 sessions for students to participate in during that Fun Friday cycle.  Students complete a ballot selecting their top choices and are placed into classes with students from different classes and grade levels based on their preferences. 

  Our Fun Friday program at LUCHA has offered a wide range of activities, catering to diverse interests. Students have had the opportunity to explore art, baking, engineering, acrobatics and tumbling, music video creation, legos, yoga, and many more engaging and enriching activities. This variety is what makes our program so exciting and appealing to students and potential volunteers.
