L.U.C.H.A. Dress Code
The L.U.C.H.A. uniform consists of a black bottom (pants, shorts, dress, skirt, or skorts) and a white or grey collared shirt. Students may also wear a L.U.C.H.A. polo shirt or light blue L.U.C.H.A. t-shirt. Only black or grey sweaters or sweatshirts are permitted and must be worn over the appropriate school uniform collared shirt or t-shirt.
Students must dress for success by having their shirts tucked in. Students should also wear closed toe shoes. Sandals are not safe or appropriate for school.
It is our aim to foster a culture in which students take pride in their appearance. To this end, we have a zero tolerance school-wide Uniform Code. It is expected that teachers take the following steps in the enforcement of the code:
Students that do not come to school in their uniform will lose recess and/or lunch privileges. In addition, their parent/guardian will be contacted and will be asked to bring a change of clothes for their child.
